I love this pattern and also the yarn, but my shrug just doesn't hang correctly. It pulls apart at the front and sags at the back. It just doesn't drape easily over shoulders and back. I though I followed directions and measured correctly! If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it. I'm thinking of pulling it all out and knitting something else. It took me a little more than two skeins.

Pattern is beautiful and the yarn is lovely, however I needed 4 balls of the yarn to complete the project, rather than the 2 indicated. And the dimensions were incorrect as well. My folded project ended up being only 12X32 instead of the 15X36 required for stitching. Luckily my aunt, who the topper is for, is a small lady.

Mine took just over two skeins, very warm and drapey. Perfect for these Midwest cold blasts lately. Will make another for my mother, perfect for the cold Chicago days at home. Made mine in Pearls, very nice shading.

Fills the bill for so many uses. I am making the latest one now for a first-time mother to wear when she feeds the newborn in the middle of the night. She will feel cozy and loved as she cuddles her infant under it's oh-so-soft rows of Granite Stripes Homespun Thick and Quick.

Love, Love, Love this! It's my go-to gift pattern, everyone loves getting handmade items, and a snugly soft wearable blanket is perfect for giving away.
Knits up super-fast & mega-easy.
Mine end up a bit more "drapey" than the picture, more for lounging around the house than out & about, but still: LOVE.

Well, I like the overall idea of this, but even had I used a 9mm needle (I used an 8mm on 65st), I wouldn't have gotten a shrug this big. The person knitting it must have been a very loose knitter.

That said, I did re purpose mine into a back cover, which works well too. ;-)

The knitting goes fast and I really like the easy pattern.

I agree with Bettina. This shrug is for coold nights in the northeast. And quick and easy to knit. Think I'll knit another one for my mom.

I like it, very comfortable to stay at home.
