Square In The Center Afghan Reviewed by Marie Stroughter on 2013-05-25 *****
I wasn't crazy about the colorways with the yarn used, so I substituted yarns. If I were to make a suggestion to address the "right side/wrong side" issue: Slipping the first stitch of every row and purling the last stitch makes a selvedge edge that is 1) easier to pick up and 2) doesn't have the "lumpiness" for a seam on the wrong side, but rather a very subtle ridge.

For the decrease rows, to preserve the selvedge, a better decrease would be to slip the first stitch of every row as discussed above, and knit the 2nd & 3rd stitches together (so sl 1, k2tog), and continue to purl the last stitch of each row.

I chose this afghan because it looked like a challenging pattern. I am very pleased with the way it turned out. The yarn is lovely.

The wrong side is definitely the wrong side and there were many ends to weave in.
