I was disappointed that the photo with the pattern is somewhat misleading. The chair must be a child's chair since the actual motifs are too small to look like that on an adult-sized chair.

I found that I have plenty of yarn with left-overs of every color and enough espresso to do an extra border and still have plenty left.

I made the outside border two rounds of single crochet of the espresso yarn.

I wanted the peaks and inside corners of the border to be sharper and better defined. Instead of a chain one at the peaks, I did three sc in one stitch on the first round and 2 sc on the second round. To make the inside corners more defined I did 3sc-together on the first round and 2sc-together on the second.

I made this afghan and it was very easy to make all the pieces. But I agree with the first reviewer it was a job and half sewing it all together. But once you have made all the pieces you can't just stop, you have to finish it. Glad I did. It is very nice.

I made this w/all the colors. Easy making the pieces but what a job sewing them together. When finished it was well worth it. Waiting until fall to use this beauty.

I am just finishing this afghan. This piece is beautiful and I think I am going to be very pleased.

Just a note to Lion Brand and all who plan to make this piece - the materials do not reflect a sufficient number of skeins to complete the afghan. I have had to reorder twice - that gets expensive with shipping cost. I would suggest that you increase everything by at least 1 skein.

I loved making the snowballs and squares. Have not put them together yet but they were fun and easy to do. I am waiting for more "brick" because there was not enough yarn in one ball to do all the pieces needed for that color. All the rest have ample amounts of yarn.
