I absolutely loved this pattern! My first hat and I finished it within one day :) I used the wool ease thick and quick yarn instead of tweed but I'll be sure to try it next time! Many more of these to come! 😊

I made this at a Caps4Kids meeting, and finished it in about 2 hours. I like the color "striping" from teh Tweed Stripes yarn. I'm not sure about the 19-20" size, as I don't know to measure it stretched or not stretched. If I don't stretch it a little then it seems 19" is kind of loose. I used a similar pattern years ago with 2 strands of worsted weight yarn. This makes a nice warm and light weight hat.

Very easy to follow pattern. This is my new go to hat. Made for adult. I have also made thick headbands with a flower out of Tweed Stripe. Love the color selection of this yarn.

Can't get any simplier than this! The changing colors of the yarn keep this interesting to knit and adds style to the hat. Hardest part of this for the beginner knitters was gathering the edge for the top of the hat. And it is easy to make the hat larger by adding a few stitches at the cast one and knit to desired length.
