Made this extra large for my granddaughter's bed - used up a lot of leftover yarn. Was pleased with how it turned out.

These instructions lacked details on finishing. Just said to sew the squares together, nothing on edging. I ended up doing multiple rows of single crochets to give it a finished look as well as to add to the size, since the dimensions are really not big enough to suit me. Also, the layout of the squares seemed pretty much random, no real logic to it that I could see. Had trouble finding the colors in Baby soft initially as well. Overall, not at all pleased wiht this one.

A great take along project. I used up 3 trash bags of left over yarn and made two of these. So cute in the car or as an exercise mat on the floor. When the child gets bigger, just add another row of squares. I got cute and did a log cabin effect layout. Real cool.
