Loom Woven And Knit Bag Reviewed by Lydia Portillo on 2013-07-19 *****
Thank you for the so clear instructions. It is a very nice handbag and hope to make it at least a dozen of times.
A beautiful Christmas gift for my friends and relatives.
Thank you again.

Loom Woven And Knit Bag Reviewed by Patricia Kemp on 2012-04-02 ****
This was my second project with the loom - I first made the homespun scarf, which turned out beautifully. This was much easier to weave, as the yarn is much smoother ;)
I love the way the panels turned out - i did find it quite a loose fabric, so I chose to line it with a cute fun tropical fish poly/cotton fabric (which also allowed me to add a pocket and a velcro closure). I think next time I'll try to double up the yarn for a tighter weave. The handles and edging were another story...next time I will be needle-knitting those. The knitting tool broke part way through the second handle, so I bought a cheap plastic round loom, and found the tool that came with it perfect, and much more sturdy than the one which came with the MSLoom. I also made the handles and edging 6 rows rather than four, to make them a bit sturdier. Over all - I love the weaving loom - looking forward to making gifts for family and friends - especially with all the great patterns on this site. I am also considering purchasing a 2nd loom, so i can combine the pieces to make larger items. I think I'm hooked!

I picked this as the first project to make with my new M.S. loom since it used both the weaving and the knitting functions of the loom. I gaving up on the knitting of the trim/handles and crocheted them instead. I now have a rather cute bag for my first attempt.
