what a plesant supprise to see rug hooking here ! :)
try brushing the back of the finished work with something like rubber cement to help anchor the yarn into place and form a non-skid surface at the same time. It's pretty pliant when it dries, and hand washable.

This is the Cheticamp Hookers' method of rug making. I ran into these rugs in Nova Scotia last year. The process and finishing directions look very good. Now, I'm anxious to begin my piece. Thanks so much.
