I love this pattern and with the tweed yarn it is just beautiful. I make what I call care shawls for people and I have 5 so far with this yarn. The Caribbean color is so peaceful looking.

I don't think this photo is the caramel tweed yarn. I made this in the caramel tweed yarn and it is beige, gray and brown in color. Love the pattern. Its very easy and worked up quickly. I added a contrasting trim around the top edge and some fringe on both bottom edges. Now I just need cooler weather so I can wear it.

Super easy! Reviewed by Celeste Keller on 2011-12-29 *****
This is a great beginner pattern. Super easy to follow, and the shawl is lovely. I bought an extra skein of yarn to make it longer and I love it!

I really like that it is an easy pattern and I can't wait to get some yarn to make it.

This is a relaxing and attractive design. The stitches are easy. The directions are very easy to follow. It is a wonderful project for a beginner who wants to make something "real" and for a more experienced crocheter who wants a mellow project.

Even in a non-self-striping yarn it produces a nice finished product.
