Easy pattern, quick knit. Made one for myself and have gotten so many compliments that I decided to make them for friends.

I found the back to come out more pointy than in the picture. I ended up unwinding the hat so that there were 20 stitches, cast off and inside out sewed it in an X shape. This helped give it a more "rounded" slouchy look

This hat is quick and very easy to make. Beginning decreases by K2 tog in first stitch, K8, PM, worked better for me.

I have now made this hat twice, and it's a really simple pattern that gives an amazing final product! Easy & quick! Will make it again!

This knit up quickly and the results were quite a comfortable fit! I can see how easily this can be modified with varying stitches etc. however, it is classic on its own.

I made this hat for a friend with some of the specified yarn- it worked beautifully! It's also very, very warm, light and comfortable. I made it right between the small and medium sizes, so that it covered the ears when pulled down but didn't sag too much in the back, and so that if it needed to be folded up at the edge it could be- to uncover the ears again.
