I made this for the new baby I am expecting in December and my 17 month old daughter loved it so much, I will be making her one, too! She kept hugging the blanket just like the little girl in the picture. This was such an easy pattern and the finished product is so cozy and soft. The Baby's First yarn does split easily, but it is worth the minor inconvenience for the overall texture and softness, and I wish this yarn came in more colors for adult patterns, too! I will definitely be making more of these for my friends and family that are expecting babies as well!

I've made this twice and it is a great pattern. Works up quickly. I used Cotton Ease yarn in various colors for rounds and it makes it warm but not hot. Kids love it too as it's so soft.

Love it! I've even alternated colors to give the pattern pizazz!

I'm just picking up crocheting again and this was perfect! Took me a little extra to get started but then I was on a role.

I really enjoyed this pattern! It was very quick and makes for the perfect baby gift. I used scrap yarn for my first and absolutely love it! I'll definitely be making more!

This was a fun and easy project! I made it in Sea Sprite, Cotton Ball and Honey Bee. I love this yarn! The pattern was easy to follow. The chain
one corners worked fine for me. I finished off with a slip stitch border.

This was my first crochet project from a pattern and the chart made it so simple! Love the way it turned out and can't wait to make more!!

I, too, enjoy the charted patterns. It's very helpful to see the "big picture". This is a very simple pattern and it's easily adaptable for additional colors

Super easy, adorable pattern!

I used three colors (faded pink, faded yellow, and cream) and did chain 2 corners, instead of chain 1, and it's working up so quickly.

Can't wait for the baby shower to give it to the expectant mama!
