Super Cute Cap Reviewed by Judith Korch on 2011-07-08 *****
I really like the stitch pattern (single crochet then a double crochet) on this hat. I used Lion Brand wool (double stranded for extra warmth) and used two skeins (3 oz each). Super easy to crochet. I added a row of single crochet and then a row of slip stitches to the bottom edge for a more finished look. I made a huge pom pom (3-3/8 inches) and it looks fabulous. I made the hat to match the "Coming Home" poncho as a set for a fall birthday present. Cheers, Judith

The name really fits! Great pattern. I made several for a little sale...they sold in one hour!

This was so easy and so fast to make...easily under two hours so it is perfect for a last minute gift and it is very cozy and warm. I made it 11-12 inches long for a good size cuff. Definitely a hat I will make again.

I made this hat including assembly and pom-pom in 90 minutes. I didn't have a P-size hook, so used and "N" and increased the starting chains to 39 to fit my head. The length at 9" was perfect, maybe next time I'll make it 10" for a larger rolled up cuff. I used Lion Brand Think & Quick (had it on hand) and it made a beautiful hat! And it only took 1 skein! I'm going to make a matching scarf with the same stitch pattern!
