I made this Afghan as a bridal shower gift & she loved it! It worked up very quickly. I used the pattern as described and it was heavier than I thought it would be. For someone who is more warm blooded, I would recommend using only 2 strands.

My name is Mary and I made this for my son for christmas this year he loves the beach he surfs when he can and since we live here at the coast NC I thought this was perfect, and trust me I was not disappointed this came out beautiful.I put a fringe on both ends a nice thick fringe.the colors truely mimick the color of the sand when the tide goes out and the lil glitter that shines in the sand when the sun is out Love it!!It took me 6 days to make, worked off and on till it was finished.

I made this one..first time with triple yarns. Everybody that sees it, just loves it! I did add a border around it because I think it gives it a more finished look. Maybe one day, I'll make a bed-size one as well.

I did different colors but it was a lot of fun an so easy. I had it done then my husband decided he wanted it to be big enough to fit on our queen size bed so its huge and very heavy but I love it!!!! So easy, anyone can do it.

I added a trim of single crochet around all four sides to give it a more finished look and added a 6" fringe as well. Turned out great!

This is a super easy pattern, even for beginners. My daughter helped me on ours, and it turned out beautiful. Since it was so bulky, it worked up quickly. Mine has fringes on it, but that was just something I decided to do at the last minute, since I had plenty of yarn left over. (I always overbuy, just in case.)
