I think the errors mentioned by the previous reviewer have been corrected. I made a version of this sweater for myself using the suggested super wash merino wool, in black, and a second version for my mother, in "wild berry." I thought the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I enjoy wearing the sweater. I have found that the super wash merino stretches A LOT when washed, so either wash a knitted swatch ahead of time and adjust stitches and rows; or you can wash and tumble dry on low (drying on low has worked for me so far). I would recommend this pattern to someone with some knitting experience, looking for something to make that they'll actually want to wear.

I almost didn't start this pattern because of the other review. I have only had a few issues and most of them were my fault. I missed one additional row of decreasing on the back so I had to do it right before the pattern set up row. That was after I had to frog about two rows of the cable pattern when two extra stitches were left over. It was a big headache and hopefully I'll learn to count accurately soon. It definitely looks beautiful even with my mistakes!

The cable set up row is probably the most complicated part of this pattern, for me at least.

One complaint I have is that the pattern picture doesn't show the cables on the sleeves. I don't really care for it. If I make this pattern again, I may try to work cables on the upper sleeves like the body instead. I may also knit this in the round from bottom up and add the sleeves using short rows.

Instructions are very hard to follow and include errors.
