Exquisite sweater!!
I love it, it's beautiful!!
I made the sleeves longer, I even added 2 inches to the length as I like my sweaters longer.
It was a much quicker knit than I originally thought.
Directions were easy to understand except when it came to the collar. I chose to make the collar separately, then sew it on to the smaller collar. I am not sure if that is what I was supposed to do but it worked.
You must concentrate on the pattern until you know what is expected and don't forget, at the waist area the directions call to add additional stitches to shape the hips, so pay close attention to the directions. I didn't and had to take out my first full back panel!
I'm very pleased with the results and have received many compliments!
Have fun!!

I live in Cologne, Germany. This is surely the best pattern I have seen in a long time. I knitted this in different wool (shipping costs are too high.) It was great fun. Needs extreme concentration at the begining. But I did`nt have problems knitting sholders. Even knitted it for my husband in black and long sleeved. Fabulous.

I'm knitting the smallest size and the shoulder shaping is really messed up. The numbers don't add up at all. Lovely sweater, but I've had to rewrite the shoulders and neckline myself to make it work.

A beautiful sweater that got lots of compliments but the pattern is a little off. The small cables are pictured much tighter than they are written. Instead of repeating the twist every 8 rows I did it every 4. Also, though my worsted weight knit to the gauge just fine and though my measurements dictated a smaller size I preferred it one size bigger.
