Made this using Vanna's Choice yarn and it turned out beautifully. I have made it using Hometown USA as well, just happened to have Vanna's Choice on hand at the time. Very easy pattern to follow. Highly recommend.

LOVED this pattern and the yarn used. Like the other comments I too needed an extra skein of each color....with the extra I made a cute cap to wear.

Quick and easy Reviewed by Bert Horrocks on 2012-09-27 *****
Makes a nice throw for your couch, if you increase the rows. I made mine 50 rows long, and threw it on the back of my couch. Perfect size to lay around with. Easy for the beginner, and quick enough for the experienced.

I also needed 3 skeens of each color... But otherwise enjoyed working with the large hook and double strands of yarn. Worked up fairly quickly and is VERY warm!!

I think this afghan is one of those rare items that combines style with practicality. Plus it's a good size for not dragging on nasty stadium steps or muddy fields. However, I needed three skeins of each color instead of two, and I had to wait to finish this throw. I think I'll use the leftovers to make a matching stadium seat.
