I just finished making a full-sized shawl of this pattern. It had 10 repeats of rows 5-12 in Candy Apple Homespun. Shipped it to a friend, turned out beautiful.

I made this shawlette on a recent vacation. Although I had skimmed the pattern a few times, I didn't realized I didn't really know how to do the yarn overs on the wrong side. At 33,000 feet I was stuck to come up with whatever I could. I was wrong, but it still turned out ok.

I used a fingering weight yarn, and ended up with 14 sections. I also forgot my crochet hook, so I did a picot edge.

I'm really thrilled with the result.

I have made a few of these, now. I just go up a needle size and it knits up like a dream. Much easier than it looks! and it turns out gorgeous every time.

This shawl turned out lovely, I made it for my MIL and now I plan to make many more. Pattern is really easy.

You can keep increasing on the short shawl pattern and it becomes a lovely full length shawl- beautiful open lacework done in a cotton yarn- a quick, lovely gift!

This was an easy and fun knit. Somehow my st count was off at the end - so I ended up repeating Row 12 to get the right count. The shawl pictured in the pattern almost looks like it hasn't been blocked. Mine is a lot more open (esp. the crocheted border) after blocking. The yarn was a dream to work with. This pattern would be a TERRIFIC last minute gift knit.
