I really loved this pattern. It worked up very quickly and is so easily customizable to different sizing and colors. I used 10 pink, 10 orange and 10 yellow flags for my banner, for my sister's baby shower. I stopped at the 16 sc row on each flag and I thought they were plenty big. Also, to attach them all together, I chained 20 with white, attached with a sc in the corner of the flag, chained 2 and then attached with a sc on the 3rd sc from my last stitch (skipped 2), and repeated that across the top of the flag, then chained 10 in between each flag. I didn't measure yet, but the full length ended up much longer than I had expected. Overall, this pattern was exactly what I was looking for. It was a great travel project too! Thanks a lot!!

Super easy and super fun project! I used Vanna's choice yarn I had laying around but the gauge is obviously not going to be really important in this case. I hung it on my wall above photo prints and it looks super cute all year-long. I always get compliments on it from my friends when they see it!

I made this and gave it to my cousin for her 4th of July party (sorry no pics were taken). Instead of crocheting the chain and sewing the flags on later I just chained 20 for the first tie then attached them with single crochet across the large part of the flag with 3 chain stitches between each flag, ending with another 20 chain stiches for the other tie.
I made 2 of them to drape in front of 6' tables. She asked if I would make more so she could hang them around doors, windows, etc.
