I lined it, and inside the lining I placed pieces of plastic canvas. I tacked these in place and it keeps its shape beautifully. I also added a crocheted shoulder strap that can be placed inside if you wish to use it as a clutch. Plastic canvas can be purchased inexpensively at any craft store.

I made this purse and it does need a lining. I used a G hook and it still came out smaller than the dimensions. I only used one skein as well. Will try a larger hook or increase the number of chains with my next purse. I didn't use the back loops because I wasn't used to that small of thread and was a challenge getting used to the thread. My next one I will try the back loops. It does make into a beautiful purse.

I messed up at some point but when I realized I was near its end and I left it like that :D

I used double strands of Vanna's Glamour and it was still a little flimsy. I used a little Velcro dot as a closure and tacked it in. I also added a double crochet handle that can tuck inside. It will work for grandmother of the bride but still needs to be stiffened some way.

This makes a beautiful purse, but it really needs a lining with stiffener. Lining it was very difficult to do without any instructions. I only used one skein of yarn for the purse itself, which crocheted up easily for this novice crocheter.

This is a pretty purse and very quick and easy to make. I only needed one ball of yarn to make it. I lined it so it would keep its shape.
