I knitted up only 4 skeins of this cowl neck as I ordered this yarn for a different project. However, it came out great and I wear it all the time. I used ivory and added beadwork to mine to make it my own. It's nice how something so simple can keep the neck so warm. I just love it and hope to make my sister one as a surprise. The K1P1 routine can get tiresome but it is worth it. I recommend this pattern, very rewarding to wear something you have made!

this was easy to make. how ever you have to double it to get it to look like the model it also looks cute long.

I love the texture of this cowl. Mine doesn't quite lay as lovely as the one pictured with the pattern, but it is a favorite nonetheless!

Made these as an alternative to mufflers and scarves this year. The men tend to lose the scarves so quickly, and I always hear the "ends are in the way". THe picture on the model has the cowl doubled. This is an EXTREMELY versatile garment -- single, doubled, wide enough to cover the head. All of the men loved them. Played with them a bit and they were all finding their own "right" way to wear it. I have no corrections or complaints. Makes up in a couple hours, too. Super garment.
