I loved making this shawl, and I love the shawl! I used the Edwardian color, which turned out pretty, and I added a large black and gray button at about waistline level as an option to keep the shawl closed. I decided not to add fringe or any extra border because it really doesn't need either! It is quite warm and snuggly. I have been crocheting off and on for over 30 yrs but this was my first experience with Homespun--I love it! Thanks LB! Wanda

A plus! Fun, easy and very cute! The edges have a cute scalloped effect.

This was my first project ever, a friend taught me how to do the hdc and started the first row for me (but now I know I could start it myself). It was an extremely easy pattern, I added some extra rows and finished it off with fringe.

Since I am able to figure this pattern out. I am giving it 5 stars because it is easy t make and very warm. I have made several of these to give away, especially to the people in the nursing home..
