I made several pair of these gloves for Christmas gifts and they were a big hit! I found that the S/M size was quite small, so I made size L for all but my most petite friends and relatives.

Great pattern. This was the first time I have knitted gloves, and it was quick and easy. A tip I have is to thread the non-live stitches on scrap yarn as opposed to using a metal stitch holder. Using the scrap yarn made it much easier to work the fingers than when I tried using a metal stitch holder. Also, I changed the cuffs to be simple 1x1 rib so that they were more masculine. I used wool-ease in Delft.

These make up quickly and the pattern is easy to read and follow. Only thing is when starting the middle finger it says to cast on 1 st. but the yarn isn't attached from the last finger made. How to cast on 1 st. when there isn't any yarn to use? I just attached the yarn and continued, all worked out.

Easy to follow instructions for fitted gloves. Thank you.

I found this to be a very easy, well fitting pair of gloves. I am very comfortable with double pointed needles and knit a lot of socks as well. Super pattern. I made my gloves in the oxford gray color to match my coat. Thanks for a great pattern.
