I do a lot of these scarves with similar pattern and make hats to go with them and donate them to Chemo labs for the chemo patients as they loose their hair. Are very much appreciated. I did 210 pieces last year and starting on my next batch for this year, hope to beat that total.

I've made fun scarves with Fun Fur for years and a trick I discovered to prevent any "pulls" in the scarf (for example if a pin or something catches on a stitch & gets pulled out, distorting the scarf) is to SLIP the first stitch on every single row after the first one. You can't slip a stitch on the first row after casting on but after that you can. It doesn't seem to matter whether you slip purlwise or knitwise. This trick works well with ribbon yarns, also.

Saw one of these done.
My mother was given the gift.
Her scarf was sort of a "sweet pea"(sort of lime color)color, georgeous. Makes me want to make one myself...on my to do list.

I made this scarf and it was alot of fun. I am a beginner knitter and alot of my friends have asked me to make a scarf for them, so simple.
