Seed Stitch Hat Reviewed by Ciara Robinson on 2013-01-26 *****
I LOVE this hat. I've made two now because it's just too great to only have in one color. It's quick, easy, and very cute. I always end up accidentally making it an extra two inches longer because I just get going on the seed stitch and don't stop! Luckily, this just gives it even more of that slouchy hat look.

I made this hat for myself in nice bright pink colours and I love it. I came out big but it looks like one of those cool slouchy hats and I get lots of compliments on it. I'm going to make another in more neutral colours soon

Nice, but BIG Reviewed by Joan Apple on 2011-08-23 ****
I made this cap with a similar cotton yarn, same weight. . .my gauge was correct, but cap came out very big! The pattern is adorable and it's really easy to make, which is why I gave it 4 stars. For size, I'd give it 1 or 2. Fortunately, I washed my cap in warm water and dried on med-high setting in dryer and it shrank to just about my size. (I do have a small head however.) I would make the cap again but cast on less stitches and knit less rows. Knit in cotton yarn, this hat is comfortable for wear in all but really cold weather. Cute.

I made this for my 18 year old daughter in a self striping yarn. She wanted a slouchy hat. I used the smallest number to cast on, then used the larger number for the length. Worked out well for the slouchy look that she wanted.

This pattern ended up being too large to wear, unfortunately. Next time, I would leave off a few stitches.

This is a beautiful and simple hat, I've made three so far for my friends. The only thing I wish was different is that it was knit in the round, since the seam is a little distracting.

very good!!! used a circular needle with no problems. I can see many creative possibilities with this hat. I used Pound of love. Will try cables with this pattern next.
