Very easy and fast to make, I saw that someone commented to sew on wing and eye before you put the piece together. I did that and am very glad I did. I think it would of been tricky to do the other way.

cute chickadee potholder for easter

I'm new to crocheting and this was so easy. Just love the pattern and plan to do more in different colors. Like the other person who commented, it will look better if you sew on wing and eye before joining the two body pieces together.

Fun pattern. I made this pattern for my sister-in-law, who has chickens. I love the idea about making as a washcloth, too.

very cute! i finished it in about three hours!!! i have one recommendation though, before joining the two body pieces together make sure you have sewed on the beak and arm and made the french knot eye! it looks nicer than doing it after.

When joining the two pieces together, leave a large enough space at the bottom to fit your hand and it makes a cute puppet type wash cloth for the bath!
