I ordered my yarn, using the same colors as the pattern and started it 2 days later (8 Jan). I loved working with the yarn, it is nice and soft and easy to work with. In just 8 days I just finished it and love the results. I made this afghan as a gift to our daughter-in-law to keep nice and warm during her pregnancy. Now on to working on baby afghans. :-)

Just finished this in the colors suggested on the pattern. It turned out beautiful, but it is a little smaller than I thought it would be. In hindsight, I might add another row, but otherwise it's lovely.

I made this blanket for a wedding and it turned out AMAZING!! It is a great pattern that is so easy and fun. The amount of supplies the pattern recomends is good with a bit left over for sewing and such. I used Homespun Winsor, Apple Green ,Cream and Edwardian. I used the mattress stich to sew the squares together and it was virtually seamless. Thanks Lionbrand! I will make this one over and over in all of your great colors!
