I'm still working on this project. I'm working on the shawl collar and wish the directions were a little more concise. My question is on the shawl collar "work in K2, p2rib to 2 sts before marker, sl" etc. etc. Do I move the marker or do I leave it, thereby working on the next row to 3 sts before marker, sl st., etc. It would make a big difference, but the directions are not specific enough. Anybody know?

The 2 strands of yarn give this the qualities of a bulky yarn garment. The picture really doesn't show that. A little bit more stiff than many other cardigans, more jacket-like.
The pattern is a bit vague in a few places, so you have to use common sense. Proper needle size is quite important here.
Over all, I would not recommend this to a beginner!
It is very warm, from the wool, and quite classic due to the natural colours. The ribbing creates a very dignified finish.

I really liked the look of this cardigan, and knitted it, following step by step the insruction given, To my disappointment it fits awfully. The back is too wide, sleeves are too big and lumpy. On the whole, becouse it has no shoulder seams it falling dawn.

I love the look of the cardi, but it is just awful in fit. It hangs oddly because of the sleeve caps and the way they fit to the sweater. Such a disappointment. Now I am anticipating taking the whole thing apart and doing another pattern.
