Very easy to make, with the tail I chain 3 instead of chain 2, then rounds 2-4: 4sc.

Great 1st Amigurumi Project Reviewed by MikiSaN on 2009-05-28 *****
This was my first successful amigurumi project! It was quite easy and very fulfilling... I made if for my daughter--who absolutely loves it! I highly recommend using a stitch marker (you only need one) to mark the start of each new round. It saves you the hassle of taking the entire thing apart when you've lost count, especially during the increases and decreases. I didn't have a stitch marker, so I used a bobby pin. Some people have recommended small paper clips or safety pins. Or you could simply slip a piece of different-colored yarn through your first stitch. I'm sure you'll love this project! Now stop reading the reviews and give it a try! You'll love it! But be prepared to make several, because your friends are gonna love it, too!

Very easy! This was my first amigurumi project and I think I am hooked :-D I made him for baby shower for one of my co-workers. He said he had to hide it from his daughter in order to save it for the new baby.

I only made one change...I single crocheted the shell to the bottom. This gave it a little lip at the bottom of the shell.

Very simple and quick; came out adorably! Picture shows the whole shell as color A, though, and the directions say to do the bottom as color B. I followed the directions and liked the results. Be careful of spacing the legs - that was my only challenge.

This is a cool pattern! I liked it. The tail was the hardest part.

Tiny Turtle is great! Reviewed by Saranii Muller on 2009-03-27 *****
This is my first attempt at amigurumi ... it was easy as pie, though I now realize that I sewed his legs so he is standing on them. I also used a black yarn for the eyes and made a mouth as well in an attempt to baby proof it. Thanks!

Quick & Easy. I put a margarine container with several bells inside the body and stuffed around it. Grandkids loved it.
