Easily doable even if it is sock yarn if you crochet all the Color A rounds first, then switch colors for the next round. Then you don't have to switch colors on each individual square. It works up so fast if you are only using one color and pretty soon you have all the squares done. I am making a pillow as I don't need a blanket. Weaving ends is the natural drag of making granny squares but don't sweat it.The colors are brighter than the photo but it still is a fun pop of color.I think the color combination is unusual and very fun!

The yarn used for this project is thin, making the afghan wear quickly. It takes time not worth the end results. Granny squares are beautiful but not when using thinner yarns. I made a few squares to get the feel of the yarn and tore it out. The use of the smaller hook makes this a time hogger for sure. Disappointed but will make again in a heavier yarn with a larger hook.

I love to do granny squares
because they are quick and
easy fast.

It nice for new crocheters
to try. They have good help
if need it.

you will love it.

If you like the colors as they appear in this picture, the real blanket doesn't really end up the same.
Very easy pattern, but very time-consuming because the yarn is so thin and the hook so small and you change colors every round. I'm enjoying it, as I do each project, but I wouldn't do this one again.
