I made this sweater in Wool ease, and it is nice and warm and cozy. Its also too big, the pattern seems to run a little large, although it was my first sweater, and I dont think I did the measurements right.
I have knitted other sweaters since, which fit better, but this is nice and warm.
I didnt put in the pockets, as I was not wanting the extra bulk on my middle.

I made this pattern and it turned out very nicely. There are two things that could have been better, however. There is a lot of bulk at the underarm by using as many rows as the pattern calls for the sleeve opening. The other issue is that the pockets are so heavy in front that it seems to pull the front of the sweater down lower than the back of the sweater, and I have never liked that look. I would suggested foregoing the pockets.

I haven't made this yet, but just wanted Lion Brand to know how thankful I am that they have a pattern that goes up to a 3X! Hope to see more!

I made this with a few modifications. I did garter stitch for 2 inches on the bottom and cuffs of the sleeves. Then I switched to stockinette stitch for the rest of the sweater. I felt the garter stitch was going to make it too bulky and too warm. I had some trouble, though, when I got farther up because the stockinette stitch knits up larger than garter. So there is a "gathered" effect on the sleeve seams, but it actually looks like it was meant to be part of the design. I will have to get a picture to submit-I gave the sweater to a friend and forgot to take a picture of her. I used Vanna's Choice in Cranberry and it is beautiful!

I made this sweater with Lion Brand Wool Ease, which was the yarn recommended when I found this pattern a couple of years ago. I love that the sleeves do not need to be set in and that there are only 3 pieces.
Sorry, no pictures. Pam
