Just finished it and I like it a lot. I made it for someone else so I hope she likes it, too :) The only part that baffled me was the ribbing. I couldn't figure out what the heck it was saying to do -- I thought it was still going in rounds, but it wasn't. It goes up and down, up and down from there. It came out very nice :)

Just finished making this. This was so easy and fast.I really really like it. Only had one problem with it. My problem was the ribbing, at first the fit was too big. I took out all of the ribbing and instead of only skipping 1 sc on the beret, I skipped 1sc, then 2sc throughout the ribbing part. This worked much better for me. Oh, and I used a Susan Bated hook, but her hook reads "M 13". Could not find an "N 13". But this served the purpose. Really really like this beret. Gonna make more in diffeent colors.

My best friend made an orange one, loved it so much she has made 3 more. Everytime she wears it, she gets compliments and everyone wants to know where she bought it...

I just finished making this hat about 2 minutes ago and now have it sitting on my head. I used homespun instead of the wool-ease because wool makes me itchy. Perhaps because of the different yarn, or perhaps it's just the pattern, but the ribbing seems a little tight. Maybe I just have a large skull, as no hats seem to fit me properly. Anyway, loved the pattern. :-)

this was my first crochet project and it turned out well. the only problem i had with it was sizing. it turned out massive so i had to go back and adjust to fit it to my head.

It was a very good pattern. My beret came out great. So great that my friends want one just like it. Bye bye to spending $10 to $25 dollars on a hat but hello to about $3 to $5 dollars. Thank you!
