This was such an easy project ...I had lots of fun making it...I did make an alteration with putting a flap and button on it instead of the way the pattern called for it...I think it looks a lot better this way...

I am currently working on making this but I am making it smaller to let my daughter use it with the shirt and skirt I just made for her.

Easy project. This simple purse helped me work on making the edges straight, something I have problems with.
I used single crochet to "sew" the edges together. Instead of a chain, I made a long strip of single crochet for the handle. The handle really stretched out once I put my wallet and other things into the purse. I would suggest making the handle shorter.
Fun,quick and easy project.

The pattern is very simple and worked up quickly. As a beginner, I completed this purse in about a day. I also ended up making it into a clutch by folding it differently. Holds my wallet & keys for a quick trip to the store.

Nice, quick project Reviewed by MIRIAM HANEY on 2009-09-05 *****
I had one left over skein of WET&Q from another project and didn't want to purchase another, so made the purse just a bit smaller. It turned out cute and it took less than a couple of hours to finish. I'll probably line it but wouldn't necessarily need to.
