I made this scarf for my 6 year old niece for Christmas. I used pumpkin, eggplant, grass, wheat, and bluebell for the colors in the Wool Ease Chunky.

The motifs come together really quickly and I generally liked the look of the scarf overall. Since I was making this for a child, I was hoping for brighter or vibrant colors, so the Wool Ease selection was a little dull for my project. If making this scarf for a little girl, I would recommend finding a different line of wool (Lionbrand or otherwise) that has equivalent weight, but a better color palette.

I would make this pattern again, just substituting a different yarn.

Also, I noted a correction in my pattern for round 1. To have the counts work out, the first round had to be 8dc + the starting chain for 9dc total. When I worked it as the pattern stated, the subsequent rows were off by 1 too many stitches.

I used the exact colors used in the picture and it came out beautiful! I mixed up the weight of each yarn so there would be some dimension to the piece. I also made extra blooms to connect them on the side rather than just a straight line. So different and up-to-date!

I really enjoyed this pattern. It was very simple and easy to follow. The only part that was time consuming was connecting each flower. Overall I would say this was a fun scarf to do.

These flowers are perfect for mixing colors. I made it with Cotton Ease and it worked very well. It worked up fast and is fun to do.
