This is a great pattern and easy to follow. I placed the pocket a little bit higher but it turned out beautifully. I crocheted single crochet around the borders so that it would look more even and that seemed to help. It's very easy to follow.

I love this blanket...the multiple single crochet and half double crochet is a little boring but the end result is marvelous! I changed the color scheme by doing blue back ground with green pockets. And...I made my pocket a little bigger than what the pattern called for.

This is a great baby gift pattern! It is great for boys, you can use more trendy colors to make it fun. It is hard to find a crochet blanket that does not look girly. This is it! The pocket and stuffed animal make a big hit at baby showers.

This is a really cute pattern. Just make sure you keep the SC and HDC even. Mine puckered moving from one stitch to the other. If I do this pattern again, I will try using a larger hook for the SC.

I made two of these for a friend who had twin boys; one the colors shown and the other flip-flopping the predominate colors. They turned out really cute and got a lot of compliments at the baby shower! I would make this again, because it worked up pretty fast.
