Cool Evaporative Beverage Cooler for Wisconsin

The pattern it self needs to be tweeked a little. It directs you to make the blue with stars different than what it looks like in the picture they have posted. I just ingnored splitting the top part up and mine came out great! They have their colors mixed up as well. It was a lot of fun! Makes great Christmas gifts too!!

I think you should not use both the stars and stripes in your pattern. It does not respect our flag. You can use either stars or stripes but not both.
If you wet the cover before your put it on the bottle, it will really cool the drink. We used to take gallon jugs and cover with strips of cloth for several thicknesses, at least half an inch deep around the jug and then fill it with water and wet the outside cloths and it really cooled the drink through evaporation of the water in the outside cloth. You'd be surprised how cold the water would be on a hot, hot day. We lived in Nebraska, so we could have temperatures up to over 110 degrees often in the summer.

I made this using their directions, I think there needs to be some revision, when I finished it, I had to flip it over wrong side out to get the star section to look like the picture for some reason... still turned out really cute though.
