Great pattern, and so fun to make! It's so easy, and you can leave off the worms for a multi-purpose hat. Thank you, Lion Brand, for a such a great pattern!

I made this in a medium brown lion suede and omitted the worms. It turned out so cute. My little guy looks like an adorable acorn. It really is an easy pattern.

This hat is really fun to crochet! I made a 3 month size and a one year size and they are adorable. I worked up both in just a few hours. I would love to see more silly baby hat patterns!

This is by far the cutest little hat I've seen. Who says that hats have to be pink tie bonnets or blue caps? I had a lot of fun making this. The parents love it too.

I made this with the Pea Green for the MC but used Rose for the worms (since I thought it would be more lifelike - never have seen any other color worms!) As per other reviews, I added several more worms around the bottom. This hat is so cute !! It worked up in just a couple of hours, so it makes a fun project and a great quick gift.

This was my first time using the Vanna's Choice yarn, and it was so nice to work with. It holds the stitch so well and is so soft when worked.

Can't wait to surprise my daughter's friend with yet another hat for her little girl!

I made a set of these for baby twins in the family. The hats looked absolutely adorable on them!

The first worm round #4 especially, and following round #5 were a little dicey for me, but after figuring it out, it was a breeze. I also as the former reviewer wrote, added more worms to the last round after enlarging the hat for larger heads, keeping with the number count.

This hat works up very fast and easy!! I did add more worms around the base of the hat, though, as I thought it needed a few more. The directions were well-written, so it was easy to add the extra worms.
