This was a great pattern! This was my first afghan and it turned out just beautiful. Instead of using twelve different colors I only used six and made four squares of each color. The edging is a very nice finishing touch!

This was my first project so I had some challenges, of course. What I really wish would've been included in the pattern is what color I should sew the blocks together with; it would've been so helpful to see the back of the afghan. I was going to use one of the colors from the border but it didn't look right. I ended up switching colors complementary to each block but it was a huge ordeal. I also wish that the pattern would've said how many stitches should be across each row. Obviously I'm a very inexperienced crocheter, so when a pattern is labeled "easy", it should be written with the minutest details.

Very easy beginning crochet project. I left a long tail at the beginning and end of each square and used that to sew the pieces together.

This was a quick and easy afghan to make. Two balls of chocolate, however, weren't needed. I used that color to sew the squares together which proved to be challenging. Directions on the best way to sew the squares together would have been nice.

This was a very easy pattern, although I did find the sewing together of the squares a little difficult. All in all the pattern turned out fine I changed the colors to match the room it was for.

what color is used to sew the squares together? one of the two colors that are next to each other?

This was a very simple pattern to follow. I changed the colors though to match my room. I also added a deeper border with two extra rows of single crochet. The hardest part of this pattern was sewing the squares together and weaving in all the ends!

This is an easy pattern. Just one note though ... In the color chart used to arrange the blocks, J(on chart)=I and M(on chart)=J.
