Crochet Afghan Reviewed by Cherryl Molitor on 2012-12-02 *****
I made this for my daughter with Homespun Herb Garden and Olive. I did make it bigger; it is absolutely beautiful. However, being quite putzy sewing all the squares together I think next time I will try doubling the square, to have less to put together. I'm hoping it will still be beautiful. Cherryl

This was an easy project, the only part that took some time was the sewing of the blocks. I did mine in Nouveau and Montana Sky.

I really love the soft feel of this yarn. This was a very easy afghan to make with the end result being beautiful & luxurious. I wanted the finished afghan to be larger than the given instructions, so I increased the squares to be 10".

Indeed, single crochet is a very easy stitch. However, working with the Homespun yarn is not so easy for a beginner. I'm finding the "lumpiness" of the yarn makes counting difficult and I'm re-doing a lot of my work. I do love the feel of the yarn, and look forward to the completed afghan!

Very nice afghan. Great gift for teens. Be sure to keep squares square to ensure easier assembly.
