This hat is adorable! I just finished it without the worm (my 1st one). I can't wait to give it to my little niece for Xmas!

I've made several of these for children's hospitals and they are a big hit. The only problem is the brim doesn't stretch, so I changed it to ribbing, which helps some.

I made this for my 22 year old sister and she loooooved it. I changed the pattern a little bit. I knit 8 rows then knit 1 row purl the next until it was 8 inches. I followed the pattern from there. I was really confused on the leaves so i made up how to make the as I went along. I did not use the worm because it looked more like a horn, but i still liked the idea.

This was fun to knit, and looked just like the pattern.
I have to say-Kudos to Lion Brand Yarn Company.
I did not understand how to make a cord, so I called Lion Brand, and the nicest lady called me back and explained to me how to do it. I just wish I could remember her name.
She took her time and was just wonderful.
