Claudia's Clutch Reviewed by s sylvester on 2011-03-09 ****
Hello All,

I am new to knitting and this is my first real completed project. LET ME TELL YOU WHATS WRONG THIS PATTERN. I am thankful that my mother is here to help me. OK, after the line that states, cast on 3 sts over the prev row,( it needs to say KNIT TO END), then bind off....

IF YOU ARE ABLE TO RECOVER, THEN THIS IS A GREAT LITTLE COIN BAG....Please make the correction if you plan to complete this project.

I will be making many more for gifts.... I am now looking for buttons....

I made these for all the girls in my family, and all the girls I work with.I made about 40 of them. They stitch up really fast. I also used a 3/4" rhinestone button, makes it very girly! They are the perfect size for a digital camera case. They were a big hit for xmas.

This combination of yarns is horrible. I am not a new knitter, but I really had trouble. Ladder yarn is awkward to knit without putting a needle through the holes, and when it sticks to the Suede (which it often does), it's hard to see what you're doing, and you can drop stitches. Anyway, the Suede can be stripped really easily by the Trellis yarn, if it gets pulled through it at all. I didn't like how loose the garter stitch was, so I just did the flap in it, and the rest in stockinette. After cleaning it up, it looks sort of pretty. (Better than these pictures), but it wasn't worth it. This is too tiny to really be called a clutch, and a real pain to knit.
Maybe ribbon yarn with larger needles would make this work better.
