I really like this as well because it is so fast. I have one in black for when I go out, one in blue for everyday, and one in red that I made my friend. I like how basic it is too so you can add your own beads, specialty yarn, or designs. Anyone reading this should also visit http://crochetpurse.brighterplanet.org/ because it has all kinds of ideas to spice up your purses.

This was my first crochet project. I like to knit with the super-bulky yarns because you get such FAST results. It's the same with crochet. I used the cabin brown color, but instead of crocheting the handle, I used a gold chain belt for the handle and a big gold button. The gold really jazzed it up. I also put in a fabric liner. I am a fan of "Thick and Quick" and Lion Brand yarns in general.

This purse is quick and easy. I lined the ones I made with fabric. They really made a hit with the teenagers.
