I love how it turned out for the most part, but here are some notes for others:

Knit in XL size- ran out of the yarn before finishing- it needs SEVEN skeins, not the 6 indicated in the pattern; had to order an additional skein. Finished product is not exactly as shown. The neckline was nowhere near as low as in the photo, but rather it is borderline mock turtle neck-like in height and has a slight projection. The width across the top of the shoulder is also much wider than shown in the photo.

I'm not sure why this pattern calls for it to be knit in reverse stockinette as the instructions are that you sew the pieces together with the garter-style stitch facing out. If you like this look then simply knit every row (garter stitch) and be done with it-- there is no reason to knit in reverse stockinette. Personally I found the look of stockinette (RS) to be much more pleasing to the eye than the garter stitch/WS side out so that's how I chose to piece it together.

Item is quite heavy but still drapes nice and has a lot of stretch.

I knitted this one up in the ribbon yarn displayed. It is lovely. The neckline is stunning. Easy pattern to follow. Just keep you pencil and paper ready to do your calculations for the neckline though. It might appear a bit confusing to a beginner.

I am a beginner, and this is my second tank top. I found the pattern to be somewhat difficult when it came to the shoulders and neck. I didn't know how to do both sleeves "at the same time" and ended up with some stiches that I didn't know what to do with.

It ended up OK, but somehow, with a much smaller neck.

The armholes, however, look fabulous.
