Crochet Commemorative Police Throw Reviewed by Debbie Llewellyn on 2013-03-04 ***
I've had this pattern for a few years and am finally making it for my godson. There are some technical flaws. The number of chains in the beginning of each piece need to be increased by one(1) for the "turning" chain of the afghan stitch. If you follow what they say, you are one stitch short on each panel. Also, the total number of stitches for the middle row is more that the top and bottom. You have to take off 5 stitches from the whistle panel. The cross stitch graphs are set for the knitted instructions. You need to count and recenter the stitching. I had to completely regraph the police station panel as it is way too long. Knitting and crocheting do not translate across so some editing needs to be done.

Like the Firefigher throw, this pattern works out very well. It was easy to follow. It pleased my husband, a former cop, very much.
