What an easy, yet beautiful throw. The directions are clear and the finished throw turned out perfectly.

I am a pretty experienced crochet person. This is a poorly written pattern for me. It doesn't tell you how many clusters you should end up with in each row, and needs to be clarified about how you work the end of row 1 and row 2. I could not get the edges right and couldn't make the cluster numbers work out right. After several tries and many fruitless hours, gave up. Very challenging for a beginner to work with two strands of Homespun too. Difficult to really see your stiches and is slow going so you don't drop the second strand. Beware!

I began this throw when it was called a "4 1/2 hour crochet afghan". It certainly takes more time that that! However, it is an easy pattern and does work up fairly quickly. Very pretty and warm too.

I just finished one and now making a second one as a Christmas gift. I bought more yarn to make it a little bit longer. For the tassels, I knotted ends of each strand due to unraveling. Will definitely keep this pattern and continue to use for gift giving!

It was very fast and very easy. I did add two more balls of yarn to make it longer. Very warm. I made this as a gift and have since bought more yarn to make my own!

I use this pattern as a standby for quick/last minute gifts. I've made it at least 10 times using various colors and it always comes out beautiful. I agree with the previous person in that it does come out a little short. I just add 2 skeins to each which seems to be the perfect length.

With the amount of yarn the pattern suggested, I felt the throw was much too short. My husband prefers to be able to have his whole body covered without scrunching up (he's only 5'7" by the way). I ended up purchasing two more balls of yarn to finish it up. It's the warmest blanket I've ever had and I absolutely LOVE it. :) I left off the tassels, but I would definitely make this pattern again.
