Opulent Neutral Throw Reviewed by Natalie Griffeth on 2010-04-26 ****
It is beautiful, and it knits up in less than a month and I am a busy mom of 3. I made it for a wedding gift. I am now making one for my mother in a different color palette. I only gave it 4 stars because there are whole skeins of yarn leftover. I will be able to use them in my mom's blanket, but if you only plan on making 1, you will overspend on the yarn. I did do some substituting because of discontinued colors/varieties, you will notice mine has more gray because instead of Rococo, I used Granite for contrast. I paid close attention to yards and weight when substitutions were made with different brands for the chenille. The photos were taken when it was almost done. I plan on utilizing some leftover yarn for the fringe, but I am saving my unopened leftover skeins/balls for my next project. Finished size w/o fringe is 62" x 46".

Downloadable Pattern: Opulent Neutral Throw Reviewed by Maria Redlich on 2010-01-23 *****
I originally made this throw for our bed, but I have put it in every room since then. It is luxuriously thick and soft. Very easy to make. I made it in these exact colors, but I used a smaller sized needle to tighten up the stitches a bit. It is a neutral combination of colors, very earthy, remi-niscent of the colors of oyster shells. It will be a favorite of mine for a long time to come.
