Recognition for Sara

This is actually about a girl in my town whom I think will be a 10th grader, Sara Ourada.

She has been working through the 4-H program there. She has received a grant and bought yarn and had a meeting and invited the public to help her either crochet or knit all types of articles to be sent to nursing homes and the needy.

She would have the yarn in groups with what she would like each group of yarn to be used for-such as baby blankets, afghans, lap afghans, baby hats etc.

This was published in the local newspaper and through that article some people donated yarn. I myself have crocheted a lap afghan and am now working on a twin size afghan to be put on a nursing home bed.

Not only getting to do something I love-knitting and crocheting I also get to contribute to the community.I am not sure how many people contributed to this or how many articles were actually knitted and crocheted.

This special young lady needs recognition for a worthy cause. Her parents nams are Bill and Denise Ourada. Thank you.
