Jazz Prayer Shawl

I used a combination of stitches from the Lion Brand Arrow Lake and Afternoon Breeze shawl patterns to create this shawl without a pattern. I call it Jazz, because I found I was mistakenly decreasing rows (didn't count stitches), so my solution was to try to repeat the error at the end by decreasing and increasing rows. The openwork mesh stitches in the middle were a kind of jazz solo. I used a basic crochet ruffle edging stitch for the ends, and really like that the ruffles look sort of like little bells.
