Tablet Clutch/Cover
Created By: Georg-Anne Duval
Craft: crochet
Materials: Merino Ribbon Wool; MicroFleece,Size H crochet Hook, a size 35 knitting needle, large decorative button, large snap.
Pattern Source: original:
I purchased a Motorola XOOM and was less than impressed with what was available for covers, moreover, I needed something with some stretch so that I could put my credit cards, wifi card, etc. in with the XOOM. Being soft and supple were the key elements. I had a single skein of yarn, forgive me for I don't remember the maker. It was a luxurious merino ribbon yarn in a varigated color pattern and I had paid a small fortune to have it. However, I was waiting for the perfect project to use it. This was it! I had an image in mind and set forth to create the clutch - no pattern, it is mostly double crochet, the overlapping flap is worked in broomstick stitch. The edge is finised with knitted attached I-Cord.
