Hats created on knitting looms
Created By: CYNTHIA PARKHILL
Craft: knit
Materials: I used 31- and 36-peg circular knitting looms to create the hats and donuts. I used a variety of yarns to complete the projects, including Lion Brand’s Homespun, Wool-Ease “Chunky” and yarns that resemble its Wool-Ease “Thick and Quick.”
Pattern Source: original:
Hats and donuts created on a circular knitting loom. Stitches and techniques represented include knit and purl for stockinette and reverse-stockinette ribbing, mock cabling and two- and three-color patterning. I was guided in the creation of my stitches by “Loom Knitting Primer” by Isela Phelps (St. Martin’s Press, 2007).
