When I saw that afghan on the cover of her 2007 crocheting pattern book, it took my breath away. I NEVER would have thought of using all of those colors. It was SO much fun... Each color combo was only 3 rows, so it went so fast and I stayed up late many nights just dying to see what the next color would look like finished. I am 58 and this is the first afghan that I have made for myself, and I just love it. You call it a throw, but mine turned out large enough to just barely cover a double bed. I had yarn left over too, so I am going to make a granny square with my remnants. I am HOOKED on working with 2 strands of different colors!!!!
