Ribbed Brim Colorful Hat

Materials: Vanna's Choice (my favorite acrylic yarn by far) and size 6 circ's and dpns.

I made this hat for my husband William, who loves hats, when we first arrived in Germany. We were staying in a hotel looking for a house, and it was our first time experiencing snow. All I had was scrap worsted weight yarn leftover from other (failed) projects, which is at least enough for a hat! It ended up being thick, warm, and machine washable! I made a little one that matches his for our son who will be born in August.
I feel like the pattern provided is a little short - I want a hat to be a little long if anything to be safe and not look silly.
